Advanced CPD: Resilience, Recovery and Sustained Performance
MindWorks PRO Performance Faculty
Course reference: EAC-MW-A4-RRP

Course Details
Sustained high performance requires cycles of effort and recovery rather than continuous maximum output. This advanced course examines how pressure, recovery behaviour and workload patterns interact over longer periods of professional performance. Participants evaluate how apparently productive habits can gradually reduce judgement, concentration and consistency.
The course explores recovery strategies, boundaries, workload cycles and the distinction between short-term coping and sustainable performance. Participants use structured reflection to identify patterns that may support or undermine their effectiveness over time. The emphasis is on developing performance systems that can withstand demanding periods without relying on unsustainable levels of effort.
Outcomes
• Identify patterns associated with declining cognitive or performance capacity.
• Design more sustainable approaches to demanding periods of work.
• Establish practical recovery and workload strategies appropriate to their role.
